#1: fuel level Author: haggis120, Location: scotlandPosted: Wed Nov 23, 2011 6:40 am ---- I replaced my fuel level sender yesterday as there was a crack on the top of the unit. The gauge seemed to come on at the same level that the old one was at so I thought it was fine. The tank level was bellow quarter when I changed it so I put in £40 of diesel last night but the gauge did not rise it just keeps going down. Any ideas? I have tried BSI reeboot but no joy. Cheers

#13: Re: fuel level Author: haggis120, Location: scotlandPosted: Wed Nov 23, 2011 2:52 pm ---- Found the problem! One of the wires had broken inside its rubber coating just as it comes through the body to the sender unit. It was covered by a small cable tie. Thanks for all the suggestions.
