just out of interest Razz

here is mine... 110BHP / 1553KG x 1000 = 70.83BHP per tonne

so it is BHP divided by weight in KG's then multiply by 1000 to get your figure

edit - i got the weight of the car wrong, its actually1088KG Mad

edit, sorry dont mean to be patronising on this topic, the math is for anybody who didn't know or couldn't be bothered to work it out Very Happy

Kerb weight of the XSI isnt anything like that.

1088kg is the kerb weight of a 3 door 1.6 16v

Although not entirely accurate as i doubt i have 197 bhp and it doesnt weigh 1240 anymore
