#17: Re: What do you think off these on my 180 Author: Dan-, Location: BiggleswadePosted: Sun Dec 11, 2011 1:51 pm ---- they were only brought for winter wheels to keep my vortexs in mint condition, but i think i like them for now :), and yeah the ride feels massively different cant feel every stone on the road now, i think there about 5gk lighter they feel alot less
#18: Re: What do you think off these on my 180 Author: Antknee, Location: ManchesterPosted: Sun Dec 11, 2011 1:54 pm ---- I prefer the nimrods, looks better in my opoinion
#19: Re: What do you think off these on my 180 Author: E5GDM, Location: EssexPosted: Sun Dec 11, 2011 2:01 pm ---- For winter wheels they're ok, but I'd put the vortexes back on ASAP other wise it just don't look right.

#23: Re: What do you think off these on my 180 Author: Bilco9, Location: Who's askingPosted: Sun Dec 11, 2011 4:12 pm ---- Surely the car wont be better?? I was always lead to believe that when a car is set up in the manufacture process, the gear ratios and all round set up is designed around the wheel size. changing wheel sizes massive reduces a cars performance?! I might be wrong (more of a question than a comment before you all start)

at the relatively slow speeds a 206 will be doing, changing from vortex to nimrods wont make much difference, if it was a lambo or an aston martin which are true high performance cars, then it would matter

Well the 17" tires are wider than the 16",which mean more fraction with road, which mean more power to move them and resist the fraction, and power needs more fuel,so the MPG will get better for sure

But if the rolling radius is reduced your use that fuel saving up when cruising.
