#1: rear trailing arm bushes need replacing.. Author: retta, Location: leedstown, cornwall PostPosted: Thu Dec 15, 2011 2:21 pm

hi guys,

before the third trip to the garage in under a month, i wondered if anyone would know whether you can buy just the rear trailing arm bushes on their own, or whether you need to buy a whole new pair of trailing arms, and which is recommended please.

been told the bushes are knackered on mine - bad vibrating and knocking from the rear end, worse with acceleration, and the back end got a mind of it's own, trying to step out randomly.

any help much appreciated as always

Any Peugeot / Citroen main dealer will sell you the bushes cheaply enough BUT be warned normally by the time its noticed they need replacing its far cheaper & easier just to fit a good second hand or refurbed rear beam.

Refurb with a warranty can be found here if your feeling flush / planning on keeping the car a while.

Or you could pay less & get some genuine parts from any Peugeot / Citroen main dealer Wink

Genuine Peugeot / Citroen parts from the vast dealer network, there a lot cheaper then you think Wink

as resonable as possible (without losing quality) would be good, as he's cost me nearly a grand so far in less that 4 weeks...

Its a PSA Peugeot / Citroen product, 95% of the time genuine parts from a main dealer are a lot cheaper then you think Wink

Ordered a thermostat for my car today, cheaper to go to a main dealer for a genuine one then get a non genuine part from a motor factor or Ebay.

Trim clips are another one, countless times its been posted up on here that the main dealer network is cheaper then Ebay but still people cant be arsed to pay there local dealer a visit & save money.
