Hi guys.

Right i have got my self a kn typhoon for Xmas of the family Smile

Not got it yet so decided to take old one off so i am ready for it.

I have put my old kn cone filter i had on my saxo vts just so i don't suck up any crap.

The engine management light has come on. Will this still be on once i have fitted my typhoon, if so can i turn it off with a code reader?

thanks guys

It will always be on because you have removed your air intake.

You'll fail the MOT come April. Might cause your car to run rich.

Fit a resistor on the sensor on the secondary air pump and it will go off Wink

100% correct.

Performance panel filter in the standard airbox if you must.

PSA Peugeot / Citroen designed a perfectly good air induction system & people think bolting on some Halfords tat is gonna improve on it Rolling Eyes

Not really will just increase the sound of the car and your MPG they arent really worth the money.

Panel filter all the way would be a better move.

I agree with the MPG but the typhoon has proven BHP gains on the 180

i am not sure about this, even peugeot sport use similar air box design as the OEM one on their cup car

Kyle aka GTI180BOY did his rolling road test and got 1.6 bhp but it was a big price to pay for such a low gain
