Spare blue connector behind stereo

#1: Spare blue connector behind stereo Author: davieboy86, Location: Kent, PostPosted: Wed Jan 11, 2012 6:28 am

After researching the issues im having Getting the remote stereo stalk to work I've managed to find that there is a spare connector with only one blue wire that I guess should be plugged into the stereo somewhere even though I see no where for it to go, maybe I unplugged it when swapping the oem stereo out ages ago.

Could this be why my steering wheel stereo control won't won't work even after getting the correct patch leads and everything?

Some stereos dont work with the stalk even with the correct adapter plugs. I think the blue wire (dont quote me) is for a remote aeriel.

The only blue connector I see in that pic has two wires.. Confused

Did you plug the 'patch lead' from the adapter box to the back of the stereo,
as well as the main iso connectors?

What make stereo?
