I expect there to be a difference RE. Petrol & Diesel (Do diesels even have a MAF sensor?) but in the petrol trim are they the same for each engine size or is there a different MAF sensor for each engine?
Yes i am a noob

If you need a new one check the part number on the old one before you buy and I did a soft BSI reset after I'd fitted the new one.

#6: Re: MAF sensor Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Thu Jan 12, 2012 11:36 am ---- MAF is on the airbox, MAP is usually on the intake
The engine you have will be helpful

Whats the difference between MAF and MAP unless they perform the same function on a different engine?
