#1: Heater Blower Not Working Author: lomax1231, Location: Weston Super MarePosted: Thu Jan 12, 2012 8:39 am ---- hi,
my sister has a 206 Quick Silver, and the blowers has stop working, i had a look at it the other day and found that there was 12v supply to the blower and the resistor pack look fine and all the connector are ok, so i ordered a replacement blower motor but they are still not working, i did find that the air con was not switching on, the motor should work as there 12v going to it, would appreciate any help or if any one else has had similar problems, thanks

Would have been worth checking the earth before changing the motor but that's hindsight for you, always arrives straight after you really needed it
Set a mulitmeter on resistance and check for near zero between the heater connector earth and some shiny metal part on the engine Last edited by Deckchair5 on Thu Jan 12, 2012 12:14 pm; edited 1 time in total

Blocked pollen filters help kill the blower motor
Done mine last month during the service, it had only been in a year & came out black

Looks can be deceptive

If I fiddle the big plug inside the dash up behind the glovebox it comes on after a while. I don't fancy changing it if I don't have to because its part of a big 3 plug loom and each plug is very difficult to get to.
