#1: car keeps cutting out Author: loudnproud, Location: derbyPosted: Wed Jan 18, 2012 8:26 am ---- hi,my 03 plate 206 1.4 petrol suddenly cut out yesterday while driving and now refuses to run,it will start sometimes but only for a minute or two,as soon as i touch the accelerator it cuts out,have had it plugged in no codes come up,the fuel pump is priming and there is a new battery on, please help i need my car back on road asap, thankyou in advance

Mine lurched after every gear change and died when I dipped the clutch. It would start for a couple of mins then die if I touched the gas peda.l I read the codes and it was the MAP sensor, replaced it and everything is fine now.

check its not snapped/frayed
