#47: Re: Project Aftermath- LSD doors fitted :) Author: Elreidy, Location: WrexhamPosted: Mon Jul 30, 2012 1:48 pm ---- Right time for another update it has been a while!
First off I added a cupra-r splitter, bought from a member on here
Following this I decided I was fed up of looking at the grubby engine bay whenever i did my weekly clean, so I decided to take some time out to tart it up a little to match the rest of the car.
Next came some sp bonnet grilles and upper grilles, also sprayed the outline of the peugeot badge white.
And finally upgraded the rear speakers to 65RMS kicker speakers.

#49: Re: Project Aftermath. Author: sam-c, Location: Uni: Kent Home: ScunthorpePosted: Fri Aug 17, 2012 11:24 am ---- Just out of interest what size subs are they? and what size enclosures are they in? Dont look anywhere near enough :/
Also, have you upgraded the front speakers? and amped them? Think you will probably need to in order to overcome all the bass those subs will be producing.
#50: Re: Project Aftermath. Author: Elreidy, Location: WrexhamPosted: Fri Aug 17, 2012 11:42 am ---- The fronts are all done yes taken the equipment out of my 106 jbl crossovers, and the subs are 13" and the enclosure is more for show, but the sound produced is by far the best I have heard from builds in person with that level of equipment, really made up with it, could probably be better but wouldn't look as nice, the rough depth behind the sub is about 14" roughly.
#51: Re: Project Aftermath. Author: Elreidy, Location: WrexhamPosted: Sat Dec 15, 2012 6:52 am ---- Right its been a while since my last update!
Guess I will start with a few pictures of the roof lining, decided to rip it out and spray it black as I was fed up with the cream look which didn't follow the theme of the car, so off it came!
next up was to get it sprayed..
and the finished product
Also bought a full Janspeed system to get that little extra sound, without having the boy racer drone, quality system as usual from Janspeed really made up with the results, was a bit of a problem getting the system to fit as it is for cars with the under floor cat, so had to have a custom pipe fabricated to attach it to the 421 branch.
some pictures of the car (before the Janspeed system) but all clean before the winter!
And the most recent got myself (well funded by mummy!) a new private number plate, closest I could get to Jay-R (JAY 1R) can see the Janspeed fitted too sits perfect in the cutout.
Will get some up soon as the car stands now when we get some nicer weather.

Had my dash parts done my a friend at work (he owed me a few favors so got a good price!)
and decided to invert my subs since room was not an issue! and amped my door speakers front and back
#58: Re: Project Aftermath. Author: shell-vt, Location: durhamPosted: Wed Apr 10, 2013 4:32 am ---- God i love them dash bits.
#59: Re: Project Aftermath. Author: Elreidy, Location: WrexhamPosted: Wed Apr 10, 2013 11:40 am ---- Thanks shell, wanted something different than the usual colour coded !
#60: Re: Project Aftermath. Author: sam-c, Location: Uni: Kent Home: ScunthorpePosted: Wed Apr 10, 2013 11:56 am ---- Really like the wrapping! Definitely think it can be theme carried throughout the car!
Glad to see you have inverted the subs, will be more space for them so you should get a better sound and I also think it suits the build a bit more
