#1: Jays 206 GTI 180 update 12/03 Author: jayz206gti, Location: Tamworth PostPosted: Wed Feb 01, 2012 5:19 pm

So ive had the 180 for a few months now and its great! Thought i would use it through the winter and look to get a clio 200 in the spring but ive decided to spend some money on the house. Currently having the whole livingroom stripped out and plastered. Then onto the bathroom. but i wont bore you with the home pimpage.

Seeing as im keeping the 180 i thought id lavish it with a tart up and some treats. so here's my ideas via photoshop. Soon as the livingroom is done i will be making a start.
Hope Kingdom200 doesnt mind me using one of his pics for reference. Smile

To Do list:
Paint/powdercoat alloys anthracite with yellow centers
Yellow calipers
Gloss black honeycombe grill with yellow detail
Anthracite front badge with yellow detail
small Banana Man motif for rear hatch

Only performance mods im worried about are getting it lowwered and probably a panel filter. Not too fussed about the exhaust for now but they may come later. Whats your thoughts people?

Yellow and blue isnt my cup of tea, the badge looks tacky. Try another colour?

no, they would both clash badly with the blue

Thats why i only posted the yellow Jord as i think it works best. I got the idea from a french performance magazine sticker which is on the windscreen from previous owner. I liked it so i left it there, it has yellow font in it and it works will with the blue.

i like it!!! try just for fun, and paint the wingmirror cap thing (i forgot what it's called :D) yellow.. You know, the little part at the top of the mirrors that are usually colorcoded to the car haha.

Might be a bit too much yellow, but you never know untill you see it Smile

If you do this, make sure you change the top caps from a cheap 206 them top caps on the 180 are expensive to replace if you decide you dont like it ha Smile

I agree, the 180 mirrors are nice how they are Smile

You just want afew suttle things else it starts looking cheap and tacky.

Maybe a yellow lip around the front numberplate, or even get one reprinted with a yellow line around it.

Just get thinking of things you could do, It keeps me awake at night thinking of whats next for my 180 ha.
