If I had fitted some uprated bump stops on the rear it would have been driveable at that height too! Bumps in the road caused a tiny bit of contact between te rear wheels and arches.
Still puzzled as to why it wouldn't pass an mot, what with the tread of the tyre being under the arch.

After having a real nice sunny day, i decided the "not quite a wall" had to go, so i decided to strip the car......
Threw a new box together to house the subs and the batteries together and voila.....
Roof down and subs in achieved. but now i have no dash and no doors.........best sort it.
Time to knock a skeleton up...
Note housing for standard switch gear blended in.
and kapow.....leather and carbon clad goodness
After being bullied by a certain mr pinder, i was informed i'd be a fool to only run 1 set of mids, so i had to rework the full doors. bugger!!!
not too many pics here, but heres a few....
just skinned.....
trimmed up, another few layers of resin....
with my new found carbon fettish, this is a site im oh too familiar with at the minute...
not 100%, but happy enough to say im still playing and learning
and all assembled......
Also, some of you may be wondering what the big hole was for in the dash. i saved this till it was dark just because i thought it looked cool...
and some of the car as a whole now...
and seens as though its in the bodyshop in less than 2 weeks, i dont mind doing some of the rougher jobs now, lets get it lower and those rear arches flared.
.next stop, build trim panels for the sides of the box and rebuild the boot, again haha

2005 206cc 1.6 16v quiksilver. again virtually all work will be carried out by myself.
so first things first with all audio proects, if you cant get the power to the amps, they're not going to work!!
so alternator upgrade. i could have gone to town on it and used a 210a alt, but when a direct fit 150a is available readily for £20 a time, i'm game for that option!
guess which is the 70a and which is the 150a?!?!
tight fit.....
next thing is to upgrade the big 3. 0awg galore!!!
and with a run of 0awg to the rear, we need fusing and distribution....best make my own i think
