1.9 D Dying Up Hill
-> 206 Problems

Yo,

Abit of a strange one, but a bloke at work has a 1.9 D 206 that seems to cut out when going up hill in the last quarter of the tank.

Hes changed the fuel filter, but it has been suggested that either the tank is full of crap, the injectors are cream cracked or the fuel pump is giving up?

Anyone got any suggestions?

Oh, i will point out that this car has been abused pretty much everyday for the past 11 years, ragged from cold and never serviced; probably doesnt help his current situation!

Lol! Thats what we all said to him!

Cost him £300 to get through an mot the other day (all four wheel bearings shot and has now developed a hefty water leak in which we think the hearter matrix has given up)!
