personally i think spending 2k on something to make what essentially is not a particulary amazing car (not yours just them in general) seems like quite a waste better off putting the 2k towards something faster in the first place

People say the same when i say how much ive spent on mine (high 5's rising fast)

My car will win shows, no one has a car the same, and lets face it would you get as many looks in a 207 gti as you do in my 1.4 turbo Laughing

If you're worrying about running costs just now, you probably can't afford them.

unless you do silly mileage per year otherwise the difference is minimum.

let say you do 8K mile per year.

the difference between 30mpg and 25 mpg is only is only 53 gallon, which is roughly 320 quid.

that means less than 1 quid per day.

£2k on a ssheddy 206 isn't worth it. If its a decent example then it is. Your experience of an 206 HDI doesn't give the same impression that a decent petrol engine would.

There are other factors to think about with mpg with cam choice etc. If its set up properly it won't be significantly thirstier.
