Just fitted a new sensor but the temp displays -- now as if its not connected?
Before it would would show 40 all the time.

Do i need to reset anything or could it be a faulty sensor from Peugeot?

Just a thought but do the wires need to go a certain way? I fitted it the same way as the one i removed though???

It should work when you turn the ignition on.

Did you crimp the connections or use the correct method of solder & heatshrink?

-- is no signal from sensor.

Unplug the mirror & measure the resistance across the 2 terminals with the black wires.

All working properly. One of the connections had a bigger gap than the other so bent it in with a small screwdriver.

Thanks MrBSI.
