#1: nearly died Author: cu52ruf, Location: derbyPosted: Fri Feb 17, 2012 2:58 pm ---- 206 on 52 reg. 1.4 driving along abs light came on with air bag light. Then the dash lights went dim and headlights went off. The stop sign started flashing and hand brake light came on but not EML.
Then the rev counter went dead and the car lost totaly power as i was in the fast lane.
Cars hazord lights would not work and would not turn over.
Connected jump leads today for 30 seconds and it fired over fine battery was healthy and is charging at around 14.20 volts.
What on earth had made it just cut out
