-> 206 Problems

I've got some play in the rear trailing arms on an SXi and I've been told that it may need a new rear axle due to the play/wear.

Where's the best place to get one from or to get it reconditioned?

Also thinking ahead.

Where's the best place to get gearboxes reconditioned? It just feels a bit notchy sometimes!

im getting a new axle for my GTI this week and im using a company called IMaxles.

They sell fully reconditioned axles or you can send yours to them and they will recon yours.

A fully recon axle for my GTI is setting me back £390 but thats everything new, yours may only need 1 part replaced.

check them out Smile

First of put the correct gearbox oil in which is less then £8 from any Peugeot / Citroen main dealer.

Remember ALL 206 gearboxes are notchy as standard, its part of the stone age design. Wink
