#1: LHD headlights? Author: drunknmunky, Location: Blackburn and CatterickPosted: Sat Mar 03, 2012 5:08 pm ---- I dont think this has been covered before but if it has im sorry but does anyone know if it would be possible to convert them to RHD lights by possibly removing the internals and putting RHD light internals in them?
I have seen some lights i fancy but i can only get hold of them in LHD
Any help on this would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance

#3: Re: LHD headlights? Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sat Mar 03, 2012 5:09 pm ---- If you swapped the internals, then yes.

To swap the internals would i have to split the front of the headlights open you think? or is it possible to do it all through the back of the headlights?

#9: Re: LHD headlights? Author: fatboyslim, Location: Lincolnshire,Home of the RAFPosted: Sat Mar 03, 2012 5:48 pm ---- You would need to swap ALL the internal parts as the reflectors would be set to point the wrong way
Which then means you'd end up with stock 206 internals,so surely it'd be entirely pointless?
#10: Re: LHD headlights? Author: drunknmunky, Location: Blackburn and CatterickPosted: Sat Mar 03, 2012 5:52 pm ---- there are parts of the lights that arent reflectors you do realise that? just because there painted chrome doesnt mean its a reflector only a certain bit of it is for light reflection
so its not pointless plus means i get something cheap (really cheap) and there hard to get hold of just dont want to have to split the fronts open because then it is pointless

Yes i do realise that, hence why people mask crystals etc

Unless they're something radically different I personally would'not go through the p**sing about

Hoping it wont be too much p**sing about tbh
#13: Re: LHD headlights? Author: craigdmjv, Location: WiltshirePosted: Sun Mar 04, 2012 3:14 am ---- real masked valeo
#14: Re: LHD headlights? Author: craigdmjv, Location: WiltshirePosted: Sun Mar 04, 2012 3:14 am ---- in white
#15: Re: LHD headlights? Author: shoaky, Location: Sibiu, ROPosted: Sun Mar 04, 2012 3:24 am ---- If they are crystals, I am sure it works. I've done it by removing the front plastic and changed the internal reflector from another pair of crystal headlights.
#16: Re: LHD headlights? Author: drunknmunky, Location: Blackburn and CatterickPosted: Sun Mar 04, 2012 4:10 am ---- No not real masked valeo white but your on the right lines not worth doing if I have to remove front plastic might aswell spray my own ones
#17: Re: LHD headlights? Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Mar 04, 2012 4:18 am ---- The cc'd angel eyes like what Ape had
#18: Re: LHD headlights? Author: drunknmunky, Location: Blackburn and CatterickPosted: Sun Mar 04, 2012 4:30 am ---- No they are masked valeos just proper ones don't wanna split them open really its ok I think ill just have to settle for painting my own, not like you can tell when the hood is down just gonna try and be as neat as possible with splitting them
#19: Re: LHD headlights? Author: craigy00craig, Location: surreyPosted: Sun Mar 04, 2012 5:10 am ---- Would be just as easy mask your own ones than to buy LHD masked ones.
