Hi all car is in the garage atm and they have just quoted me 400 pounds too change my offside rear stub axle. Was wondering if anyone knew the length of one for a 1.6 99 reg or a push in the right direction. There is two on ebay but havent got a clue on the sizes i need. i asked the garage and they will not tell me as they will lose the money. Ive got a friend that will fit it for me if i can source one. Any help will be much appreciated

i got confused.

do you mean the stub pin? the length is depends on whether you got drum brake (120mm stub) or disc brake (100mm stub)

but someone need to confirmed i got the length right.

why did you need to replace them? they seldom got damaged unless your wheel hit something badly

Why can't yours be measured? You can see both ends so why not measure it?
