#1: Gearbox oil? Author: james180, Location: NottinghamPosted: Mon Mar 05, 2012 2:26 pm ---- I changed my gearbox oil at the weekend and was surprised when only 1.5 litres came out.
There is no leaks anywhere at all. Do gearboxes use oil or is it most likely it was only filled with 1.5 litres?
It has 1.9 litres in now so im glad i changed it.
