#1: fuel cooler clips? Author: PUGPAUL, Location: hornseaPosted: Mon Mar 05, 2012 3:01 pm ---- main dealer says fuel cooler clips are not available, you have have to buy a brand new cooler complete for around £90 plus VAT.
I am not prepared to pay that for the sake of a broken plastic [omega type] clip.
Any ideas on how I might fix this please, given that the correct part is not available separately?

No they don't look like those omega clips. They hold the fuel cooler support bracket in place on an HDi under the chassis about where the driver's seat is positioned [under the floor on the outside].
Looks like this:
I'm told these are not available separately; you have to buy a complete fuel cooler (£90 + VAT) - i.e. no part number available.
...these off ebay might work with a little alteration 'here & there':
