#1: Airbag light + MOT Author: JayM, Location: SW ScotlandPosted: Tue Mar 06, 2012 6:00 pm ---- I've had a flashing airbag light since I got my 206 a while back, I know the previous owner so know the airbags haven't been deployed. I know they won't fire in the event of a collision, however - MOT is coming up and I've read the new legislation which means an airbag fault is a fail.. Is this now in force (as of January?) or were the changes being made in April?
I've checked the orange plug in the fusebox and it's fine, I won't have plugs under my seats I don't think, as I don't have side airbags, is this correct?
I'm going to try disconnecting the battery and unplugging the plug in the fusebox and leaving it for 10 minutes or so as suggested in another thread, any other suggestions?

it will tell you why the light is flashing, it could be pretensioner as well
