Operation Tangoed

#1: Operation Tangoed Author: Foz369, Location: Wales PostPosted: Tue Mar 13, 2012 12:13 pm

I've decided to liven up my boring grey 206. So I decided that everything plastic should have some orange on it.
I started by fixing the left hand mirror which was hanging off. This took a few minutes and lot of banging it and seeing what happened.
These are pictures of the car before i started messing with things:

Front

Back

Wheel

Side

Inside (excuse the mess, this is a 19 year old boys car, what did you expect? lol)

Plan of Action
Spray centre console and other bits of interior trim orange.
De-badge the boot.
Remove B-pillar vinyls.
Sort out dents and scratches etc.
Respray bumpers and rub strips orange.
Get Morrette headlights.

March 2012
I have just sprayed my centre console orange, think its gone ok, just need to spray the bit around the clock, what do you think?

August/September 2012
Only a small update to the car, i mean really small, probably not worth writing about. But here goes...

I've sprayed front door handles orange.

I'm soon going to respray the rear ones, when I can get off my a**e to get more paint.

I'm also looking at recovering the door cards and the glove box lid.

think he means for speuuuuwwww......

personally the orange dosent go with silver IMO but do it with some other ballsy colour..... then it might work because i don't think orange is quite mental enough ha

If you bring that photoshop i think it will look a bit of a joke in my opinion. I think just the allows could maybe work.

What other 'ballsy' colour could I use then?

I think that it would work with colour coded side strips and bumper strip with subtle hints of orange. So orange alloys and mirror caps and cc'd bumpers

so match the bumpers + side strips to the colour of my car and just paint alloys and mirror caps?
What about bonnet vents?

ebay...for sale section on here...gumtree. Have a search. You will need an adaptor or have to rewire the crystals. Your car has H4 bulb fitment and the crysals are H7
