#1: So what now? (injectors?) Author: shaunc, Location: Salford/ManchesterPosted: Wed Mar 14, 2012 3:43 pm ---- Sooooo........
I recently posted a problem I had in which my car was running very ruff but also kinda sorted its self out
Take a look ---> Ruff chugging engine (3 cylinders)?
So its kinda fixed its self in a way but now a new problem has risen which I think is linked, now whenever I try to start my car it doesn't quite want to start first time. Especially when its been left standing for a while.
I don't think its an electrical problem (like dying battery) that im aware of and it helps to pump the accelerator a bit to get it started.
Could this be pointing to an injector problem like the problem before??
any help is as always much appreciated!

#3: Re: So what now? (injectors?) Author: Bummers, Location: North walesPosted: Thu Mar 15, 2012 4:43 am ---- Obvious culprits are the coil pack, spark plugs & injectors.
Personally i'd change your spark plugs first of all and check what make your coil pack is. If its the sagem one bin it and fit another.
Has your engine management light come on at all?
#4: Re: So what now? (injectors?) Author: shaunc, Location: Salford/ManchesterPosted: Thu Mar 15, 2012 1:39 pm ---- Ok, I didn't supect my spark plugs because I changesd them about 6-7 month ago. So if it is a sagem one which kind should I change it for? And no management light
#5: Re: So what now? (injectors?) Author: Bummers, Location: North walesPosted: Thu Mar 15, 2012 5:18 pm ---- Everyone will recommend a bougicord one - good luck finding it! Peugeot sell valeo ones, GSF motorfactors sell the same ones about £20 cheaper than Peugeot - I've just picked one up today.
Did you use bosch spark plugs or NGK?
#6: Re: So what now? (injectors?) Author: shaunc, Location: Salford/ManchesterPosted: Sat Mar 17, 2012 1:57 am ---- Ok cheers ill price em up 2day then! Bosch supers.... I'm aware of the problem with ngk's but when I got the car and I changed them the old ones were ngk so maybe this has already done the damage? Do u think it would have took 6 months to show though??
