Can you just change/replace the bushes?

#3: Re: Wishbone bushes Author: Kelz, Location: KentPosted: Sat Mar 17, 2012 5:40 pm ---- Yeah like can you fit powerflex bushes in the wishbones on gti?
#4: Re: Wishbone bushes Author: gazza82, Location: South BucksPosted: Sun Mar 18, 2012 5:01 am ---- The bushes are available, but I'm not sure that they are easy to change without a press. I've got a new arm in the garage and they don't look like they come out easily.

Need to try find some for it first

Plus if u will need a press to remove the bush, and if your bush is deterioting, just a matter of time before your ball joint causing u problem.

Wishbone bushes failing are only a common problem with cheap / aftermarket parts.
Genuine Peugeot parts last years, 6+ & still going strong in my case.
#9: Re: Wishbone bushes Author: Kelz, Location: KentPosted: Sun Mar 18, 2012 11:23 am ---- I'm not sure which one it is tho, the n/s was replaced 12 months ago
I thought just get some £60 ones(for the pair) and put poly powerflex bushes in them
Would work out about the price of 1 Peugeot one and I would of had both done
