hi I was just wondering how much would it cost me on petrol to get to Birmingham from Manchester.

80miles roughly , dont drive like a c*** and should cost around £20 one way at the most ?

I have driven it, mine didn't drink much at all... Yeah, I think I spent £30 return.

It's all about how you drive it lol, I managed Birmingham and back in my 180 (116 miles each way) on half a tank... and that wasn't being gentle. So I imagine a 1.4 being driven sensibly would get much better results.

What's your load? Ie people,luggage etc.
How fast do you drive?
What time of day are you going?

Well my CC says average mpg is 37
So to be safe say 35mpg
Journey is 80 miles
So 80/35 is 2.28gallons
1 gallon is 4.52 litres so £1.399 per litre x 4.52=£6.32 per gallon
So then multiply gallons x price per gallon 2.28 x £6.32 = £14.40
So £15 worth should cover it
