#1: 2003 Peugeot 1.4Hdi Immobiliser reset (SOLVED, Fuse problem) Author: Rob.Be, Location: BelgiumPosted: Thu Apr 05, 2012 6:26 am ---- Tried searching the forums, couldnt find what i was looking for.
Was just in the process of changing the interior lighting in my car from orange to green.
After plugging in a green LED W5W bulb in the boot, the bulb didnt light up but the wind screen wipers came on even thought they were off.
Left the car for 10 mins.
Returned and windscreen wiper problem went away.
Now the engine is turning on starter motor but not igniting.
Im guessing i tripped the immobiliser.
Couldnt find a fuel cutoff switch so dont think there is one, but it seems there is no fuel going into the engine (which ran perfect just earlier).
Need to know how to reset the immobilser.
I read about using the bipper key, I dont have it. I lost my keys and only have the spare key now (the one without remote buttons).
How do i get my car to work again? lol
Right now trying to leave ignition on for the next hour and see if that resets the immobiliser.
If that fails will try disconnecting the battery for an hour and reconnecting.
In the process of making how too's for changing every single light, wanted that to be my first post, but f****d it up lol.
Any help would be much appreciated.
(dont know if it matters, but when i tripped the immobiliser, i didnt have the electric window switches or the headlight dimmer switch connected, dont know if it is relevant with it cutting out). Last edited by Rob.Be on Thu Apr 05, 2012 7:11 am; edited 1 time in total

#5: Re: 2003 PEugeot 1.4Hdi Immobiliser reset Author: Rob.Be, Location: BelgiumPosted: Thu Apr 05, 2012 7:07 am ---- Thanks rob, i actually left to disconnect the battery and check the fuses at the same time before reading your message.
I forgot to mention i already checked the engine fusebox.
Turns out you were right though.
A 30A fuse controlling the deadlocks had blown in the interior fusebox.
Replaced, started the car, no luck.
Waited 30 seconds and she threw into motion immo disabled itself.
Im happy again and time to start more soldering and photos :)If my fuse goes again i will just swap it with my sisters fuses and make it her problem lol since i just used my last 30A fuses
Thanks anyways Rob and nice name by the way Last edited by Rob.Be on Thu Apr 05, 2012 5:04 pm; edited 3 times in total
