morning guys,

after a long evening of firing on my powerflow exhaust it has raised another little concern for me.

the old rubbers are a little 'worn' so I am going to replace all 3 of the rubbers. But is it best to get some uprated items or just go for the standard items???

any links to decent ones would be much appreciated

cheers

dave

Try Powerflex or Superflex web sites ... poly hangers not rubber so don't stretch have as much.

IIRC Tarmac-Terrorist used some powerflex ones but they arent car specific.

Ordered some polyflex ones at £4.61 a piece. They are universal at 70mmX50mm

Will let u know what there like when they come.

Apprarently they are miles better from the reviews. Got them from ruderacing

Cheers

I've got them on my Alfa 156 ... big improvement although two of the originals had broken. Hard to get on so use some copperslip/coppergrease on them. The 156 has "heads" on most of the hanger fittings so you have to really push/pull to get the harder poly bush over them.

May look at getting some for the 206 CC as the exhaust is out of line on that one and the two rearmost hanger rubbers are already pulled tighter with tiewraps!

Halford's sell the powerflex hangers but they add a big markup! I got mine off a couple of ebay sellers ... much cheaper as I needed six for the Alfa!

Yeh just fy my confirmation. Under £14 for all 3 bargain!!!

Not to bad on the powerflow exhaust as it doesnt have any lips or knobs to hold it on. Just a straight bar pretty much :/

Will keep u informed. Got to be better than the more than likely 12 yr old kit that is already there Smile

Cheers

Dave
