Then stop the engine moving so much with stiffer mounts.

Yeah looks like a no go for 206 gti 180 - for me anyway - I went off the post with the measurements from within the post and worked it out to the EXH005 - Can see why you say that looking at the phone comparing the two:
Plus the size of the hole that attaches to my exhaust is way too small - no about of lube will allow it to fit.
Here are the pictures of the hangers and exhaust on my 206 GTI 180:

this is not just a 180 problem.
I bought some a month ago for my 2002 138 and only 1 will fit (middle box).
seems i have the same problem, as the tailpipe are much large diameter.
Guess i gotta go hunt some more polys
#37: Re: exhaust rubbers Author: spike_202, Location: West midsPosted: Fri May 25, 2012 6:31 am ---- Cant you use some copper grease/wd40 then hit them on with a hammer?
I would just get a drill and make the holes a tad bigger.
#38: Re: exhaust rubbers Author: paulspug, Location: Spalding lincolnshirePosted: Fri May 25, 2012 7:59 am ---- update:
i thought fook it and went mad, slammed on the wd and actually managed to get them on
There is not much movement on them now but who cares there on
so gotta go wild if u want them on a 180
i woulda felt real good if i hadent spotted a hole by the middle box, right where it joins.Ah well time to patch it and save for a steelie

#40: Re: exhaust rubbers Author: spike_202, Location: West midsPosted: Tue Jul 24, 2012 8:37 am ---- So is the EXH005 an ideal fit for the 138?
