its not actually that hard or wasnt on the saxo i did Wink did it all on my drive pretty much and as said took the head to get skimmed and replaced the gasket wasnt much really Laughing

may attempt to find a decent car with a head gasket failure and do it again make some money from it or just run it once fixed can get some bargains cause garages charge a fortune to do it for some reason Confused

Honestly mate it will take you 5 mins to do the job you don't need to touch the fuel rail, take the whole thing off and do it right because you want the gasket to be aligned properly, just going by experience don't mean to sound the know all

I did this on Saturday and its now fixed Smile

Was a pain in the a**e though!
there's 8 torxs bolts, then you need to take out a sensor next to the cam belt, and also take off the cambelt cover as the rocker cover goes underneath the cam belt cover. I also had to unbolt the black metal thing that holds the engine cover in place to have enough room to lift the rocker cover. The pipes were really stiff aswell and had to come off. there's like two locator pins on the rocker cover that slots down into the rocker so you cant just slide it off, it has to come up and out.
