engine conversion

i have a 1.4 8v and no someone selling a pretty cheap vtr i was wondering if it would be a nice easy engine gearbox and loom swap over or will it be more complicated?

they're only 1.6 8v arent they? Is there any point?

probably wouldnt need to worry about suspension and brake upgrades though.

my engine is on its way out anyway other wise it wouldnt really ha, and the 206 is a 51 plate not sure what year the vtr is thoughh

Fit the 1.4 loom to the 1.6 engine, but check to see if the three plug vtr ecu will fit your 1.4 loom connection

If it does all you need to do is get the ECU transponder removed or if you have the key and fancy being cheap tape it to the transponder aerial
