A UK spec 206 wouldnt be allowed to be imported or used in Australia as it doesnt meet there stringent safety laws due to the passenger airbag disarm switch
You are not allowed to be able to disable the passenger side airbag in Australia as they dont allow child seats in the front.

I would be looking at going with a non standard exhaust from a reputable exhaust shop. The price would be thousands less. They could even provide a sports cat as a replacement cat for you. Another option would be to import a janspeed or Scorpion exhaust from the UK. This would be costly but still much less than $5000. Good luck and tell us how it goes. Also try asking the guys on Aussiefrogs.com.au . There is often some really good advice on there.
