#1: Hedlight Problem Author: alborough1974, Location: Isle of WightPosted: Sun Apr 29, 2012 7:44 am ---- I've just noticed a very strange problem on my 2002 206 1.4sw.
When driving during the day i've noticed when first setting off that the headlights seem to be switching themselves on. They will stay on for a while then switch themselves off.
The headlights behave normally when switched on via the switch it's just that they also come on when you don't want them on.
I'm thinking possibly a sticking relay any idea's on the above would be appreciated

Not sure i like the sound of that. So what am i likely to be talking new comm2000 or worse?

I noticed that the problem is remedied by turning the headlamp switch in the off direction slightly beyond their normal position. This immediately turns the headlights off and is therefore obviously the comm2000 at faulty.
Now need to get myself another comm2000. I've been quoted £60 from 247spares so my next question is what are they like to fit and are they coded to the bsi. I'm guessing probably not
