#1: Picy of rear brake compensator? Author: V9977, Location: Athens, GreecePosted: Mon Apr 30, 2012 1:24 am ---- Recently found the clonking noise from the rear brakes was the compensator valve spring becoming totaly loose. oops.
I have repaired and re-tightened it but would like to have a look at how
stretched it is normaly so a pic would be appreciated just to get an idea.
Cheers.

You might want to put some WD40 on there, it looks a bit rusted and might be seised.
Anyone else have a pic?

Yep, the 'other' one has no valve either so I can't compare.
Anyway I tightened it now and seem to have rear brakes again.
