Hi,I have a 1.1 206 on a 51reg I currently have a problem with it I hope someone can help.
About 2 weeks ago I was on my way to work and as I pulled up I felt the car missfire alitte anyway this got worse on the way home along with constant cutting out at traffic lights!.
I was told it was the map sensor so I went and bought a new one last sunday and fitted it,all was fine till today and it's doing the same thing again now!,I've just tryed another idle control valve to see if that would sort it but it's still the same. It's not brought the engine management light on and there aren't any fault class in the e.c.u......so I'm at a lost.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tested your injectors? When mine have gone before they didn't bring the engine management light on and no codes were shown.

How did you sort it as I'm having the same trouble. Car cuts out when slowing down for corners and roundabouts.....

So what was the problem and what fixed it ?

Answering this will help others solve a similar problem, maybe.

Thanks

lol that's frustrating, was there ever an answer to what was changed that solved this? Having the problem myself, not spent very much on it yet, but would like it fixed.

Oh by the way, I've got an '03 2l 206 cc. I love it, I really don't want to have to get rid of it.
