No they can go both ways, but as the bonnet in this particular area is double skin it was easier fitting them this way.
Also they look better this way lol

I'm done with Baker mounts...Rubbish quality, they keep breaking, squeaking etc. We've replaced 3 sets of top mounts already.

Hopefully I'll have more luck with Vibra Technics.

wow this is a blast from the past, its still sitting on my drive just getting it ready for the winter it's been sat still for a while at as moved house / baby / work / new car so it's just been waiting for me to jump in again. I think one of my top mounts that I fitted has gone either that or its eaten another wheel bearing lol

lol yer this was a DD I used it every were everyday. but since I've got a new 308, having bucket seats and no rear seats isn't good with a 8month old haha.
I've got the flat sorted just need to identify what the grinding noise is. IIRC it was while on full lock to the right. at the time I put it down to a top mount but I'll take it to me mates garage all it needs is an MOT then I'll use it.

Got any upto date pictures? Is it sat rotting away? Do you know how your rev counter is connected to your ECU? Is it spliced directly into the clocks?

I haven't used it since before Xmas as MOT has ran out. rotting away it certainly isn't but needs a wash think I need either a new wheel bearing or top mount on the passenger side.
rev counter is loomed to the euc is all I can tell you mate, pug1off did all the wiring so I wouldn't know. I literally haven't had to touch anything since I've had my work done (nearly 8 years ago) just the mods for more power ect.
