New key?

Hi guys,

I am after a new key for my car, am i able to get this: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peu...2a1b02e83b

and then get it cut to the same as my current one?

Depends if your car is multiplexed or not. If your original key is the same as the one on the left in that picture then yes.

Nope thats the wrong key, thats a lazer cut key and will not work with the 206.

I know but it doesnt help when others give the wrong information.

No doubt the OP has ordered it and will stick up a thread when they get it saying it doesnt work, how many times has that happened.....

You need to the flip key that is not lazer cut and you will be fine

The flip key aren't as good as the standard/originals my brothers broke in couple months,the key bit actually snapped off lol.

Had for over a year now and never had a problem with it

You need to look a the blade of the key and make sure it's like the one you have at the moment but uncut.

The one you linked was a straight key that has to but cut by lazer

It maybe called a laser cut key BUT a laser isnt actually used to perform the cuts on the blade Wink

These days laser cut key barrels are also easily defeated Whistle...
