#1: 206 gti 180 aux belt tensioner Author: slymambo, Location: dorsetPosted: Wed May 16, 2012 10:38 am ---- The aux belt on my car is making abit of noise so ive had it looked at and the garage said the tensioner is knackard and they quoted £123 just for the part. Is this right as i thought was abit steep?

Peugeot / Citroen dont list the roller for the tensioner but you should find the idler wheel is the same.
Peugeot / Citroen list price for the tensioner unit is £147.76 including the VAT

Did the Aux Tensioner fit the RFK engine?? or has anyone found just the roller. I have looked for a power gate one as with the cambelt kit and they do a Aux Belt idler pulley =]
#6: Re: 206 gti 180 aux belt tensioner Author: Gumpy54, Posted: Tue Mar 24, 2015 9:50 am ---- I got one from Parkers for about £47 quid. Removed the bolt in the centre, and the bolt in the centre of my current one, swapped over the rollers and jobs-a-goodun'.
Took about 1/2 hour including removing / refitting aux belt.
Just remember the bolt in the centre undose the opposite way to normal bolts...
