#1: Jaeger’s 2.0 HDi D TURBO Upgrade(s) Author: Jaeger, Location: UK PostPosted: Mon May 21, 2012 3:23 pm

I love my 2.0 HDi so I thought it’s time I start doing some work and make it look even better.

Once the time is right and I have picked up enough info (as I’m still a noob!) I will also like to tune it up.

I will be uploading pix as I do anything.

Here it was yesterday:

The only thing I added was the GTi Carbon mirror covers:

A new addition to my HDi is a set of 206 17’’ GTI 180 Alloys Wheels, fitted them myself today.

I think they look sweet compared to the boring 15’’!

I will need new caps, anyone have a spare...16?! Rolling Eyes

Here are some pix of them fitted:

Give it a good clean and some PH2 or aftermarket rear lights and we're onto a winner Razz

Looking great so far

The 15" alloys are nice still lol and the vortex looks great on your car. Maybe next thing to do is lower it more, colour code the bumpers and get yourself a newer rear lights maybe PH2.

Is it just me or do those wheel bolts not look right? lol I'm hoping they have the bolt caps on them and they just dont fit those alloys correctly

I don't care what anyone says, but I prefer Ph 1 rear lights and boot strips to Ph2

Thanks for the replies.

Now to answer some of your questions:

About the rear light, I prefer ph1 over the ph2 but I just got a set of Ecosse Crystal should get them soon so that answers the question about changing them! Rolling Eyes It will be done, unless I suck at it and have to ask you guys for advise! Laughing

Wheel caps are off the 15'' set so that's why they stick out, don't worry I did them up tight!!

And yes I was thinking of lowering it a little too as it's sitting quite high atm.

Pretty sure the bolts shouldn't stick out that far though mate, i'd definitely be buying a new set of bolts asap - it just doesn't look safe. Laughing

Couldn't even see my bolts tbh when I had my vortex' fitted unless you were looking directly at the wheels.

As long as theyre alloy wheel bolts it shouldnt make a difference, but as everyone has said, ive never seen them stick out that far before lol

Guys, the bolts went in plenty far! Laughing
The GTi 17'' alloys are concave in while the HDi 15'' are convex.
The 15'' caps are DEEP so that's why they stick out, I'm sure!
I am looking for GTi caps as we speak. Rolling Eyes

Here are the new items I fitted while doing some minor work on the car:

And yes I cleaned it twice in the past week! Laughing It's still wet here.

Ecosse Rear Lights:

SP Bonnet Grill:

SP Upper Grill:

Finally, HDi Engine Cover:
I just found some heavy duty bolts for it had it lying around since winter last year...

Will need a Battery Cover too...
