#1: Jaeger’s 2.0 HDi D TURBO Upgrade(s) Author: Jaeger, Location: UKPosted: Mon May 21, 2012 3:23 pm ---- I love my 2.0 HDi so I thought it’s time I start doing some work and make it look even better.
Once the time is right and I have picked up enough info (as I’m still a noob!) I will also like to tune it up.
I will be uploading pix as I do anything.
Here it was yesterday:
The only thing I added was the GTi Carbon mirror covers:
A new addition to my HDi is a set of 206 17’’ GTI 180 Alloys Wheels, fitted them myself today.
I think they look sweet compared to the boring 15’’!
I will need new caps, anyone have a spare...16?!

Maybe next thing to do is lower it more,colour code the bumpers and get yourself a newer rear lights maybe PH2.

Now to answer some of your questions:
About the rear light, I prefer ph1 over the ph2 but I just got a set of Ecosse Crystal should get them soon so that answers the question about changing them! It will be done, unless I suck at it and have to ask you guys for advise!
Wheel caps are off the 15'' set so that's why they stick out, don't worry I did them up tight!!
And yes I was thinking of lowering it a little too as it's sitting quite high atm.

Couldn't even see my bolts tbh when I had my vortex' fitted unless you were looking directly at the wheels.

As long as theyre alloy wheel bolts it shouldnt make a difference, but as everyone has said, ive never seen them stick out that far before lol

The GTi 17'' alloys are concave in while the HDi 15'' are convex.
The 15'' caps are DEEP so that's why they stick out, I'm sure!
I am looking for GTi caps as we speak.

But I was NOT, I repeat NOT easy!
I messed around with them for a few hours yesterday...worth it!
Today, I had to file, cut, rewire and basically modify a few thing to make them fit where I wanted them.
I removed the standard head lights and taped up the plus I won't need so they don't corrode...
I cut the side light plug so it fits in to the awkward position .
I was gonna use a choc-block to connect the side lights/halos to the main wires but couldn't find any so soldered and taped it, will mod it when I find some and have the time.
These lights look so sinister!
After it's fortnight shower!
I am very frickin happy with them!!!
I hope I get some comments this time as no one said anything about my grills and ecosse lights...

looking good, i tried to find a hdi in that blue for ages could not find any good ones in my price range
when i fittted my angel light a while back it took me AGES to work out i had to up the side light holder to get it in!!! i tried fitting it with cable tighs and all sorts! ended up melting the the lights as they neve sat correct
