I bought some infinitys and the just dont fit, i Think they are hitting the back of the speaker cage..What the best thing to do?

A, Chop the back of the cage mount
B, Put a wooden templete to bring the speaker out a bit, but would this rattle?

Help Please!

Be warned - the front window passes very near to the back of the speaker plastic cage, the glass can hit the back of the speaker once the cage is removed if the speaker is to deep.

Option B.

Also use the round foam on each driver front as fitted by the factory.
This greatly reduces rattle and improves sound quality believe it or not.

Do not chop the plastic cage or remove it as it also acts as a tuned 'baffle' for the rear of the driver.
