Ok so I want to buy a Haynes repair manual for my 206...

But, they only go from S plate to X plate, and 51 plate to 06 plate...

The problem........

My car is a Y plate.... 2001 July 31st....

lol? Anyone shed any light on this for me. Do I buy the S to X reg or 51 to 06 reg one? lol.

Cheers all!

Isn't much difference to mechanical parts. More about electrical, iirc. Go for for first one.

Well, there's a mix in that year. My aunties got a 2002 52 reg and its pre plex, same as mine. Yet I had abit older 02 reg and it was multi plex.

Anyone's, so ill be ok buying either really, the book is only needed for engine area! No interior parts as they are all common sense. Engine... I know nothing!

Another weird thing about the Haynes manual is the 51 to 06 book doesn't cover the 1.6 16v engine??

The newer book (4613-Haynes Code) doesn't cover the GTi 180

Yeah I know what ya mean. I've seen an old style Megane Coupe (96-03) model on a 58 Plate.Guy who owned it said it had been sitting in a warehouse unregistered.

Typical Renault. Seen it before with Renault too.
