Hi,

I found this information out for reprogramming a key fob I bought with transponder from the internet.

I have tried a few times but not working, can you tell me if anyone has had success with this or is it wrong.

Is there a certain order I should be using to program and sync it first?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

CENTRAL DOOR LOCK with DEADLOCKING (2 BUTTON PLIP KEY)

1. Ensure all doors are unlocked using the key.

2. Press and HOLD the large plip key button while the LED flashes continuously for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds press the small deadlock button once while still holding the large button.

3. The LED will stop flashing.

4. Release the large button and the LED will light constantly.

5. Press the large button once and the LED will go out.

6. Open the door and hold the Plip key near the Ignition switch and press the large plip button once.

7. Turn the ignition ON, wait 10 seconds and then turn the ignition OFF.

8. After 5 seconds the Plip should now operate.

206 PLIP PROGRAMMING SYNCHRONISATION—BSI

1. Insert the Ignition Key.

2. Press the small Black button.

3. Switch the Ignition ON

4. Keep the lock button pressed for 10 seconds.

5. Release lock button , switch ignition OFF and remove key.

6. Close all doors and press the lock button 2 times.

NOTE : If PLIPS still do not work, start the vehicle and then turn OFF. Open and close the door, and check PLIP again.

I think this might be the way to do it on the keys with the single button that locks and unlocks the doors, IM not 100 percent shure, maybe someone else will be able to help, as When I got my keys programmed I had to go to the Peugeot garage...

I'm fairly sure that you need Peugeot Planet to program the remote board to the car. If you bought a virgin transponder, you will definitely need Planet to pair it with the car.

There are about 3 different circuit boards for the remotes, and even with Planet you can only have as many remotes as the BSI will allow. I can have the original service key and one remote.

Lee is probably your best bet to get it all sorted. He got me a new transponder and board, came to Bolton from Sheffield and paired them using Planet and it was still cheaper than paying an hours labour at the dealer.

You cant use resync instructions to code a replacement key.

You need to use Peugeot Planet.

You also need a virgin transponder chip & the correct keyfob for the car.
