I may just get someone who can drive any car and be insured to nip it over and then I book it in, its only just around the corner so would that be OK?
YOUR car still has to be insured for someone elses driving other cars third party insurance cover to be valid
If the mot has already ran out then its NOT ok to drive it to go & make the apointment, the apointment has to be prebooked.
God dammit, so either way, asking nicely for them to take it on trade plates is looking like the only option?
I'll book it in then and try and get them to pick it up, failing that, is a trailer my only option, unless I push it, which, I won't.
Pick the bloody phone up & book it in.
You will be ok to drive it to the garage for the prebooked mot apointment & then home again to fix it / post office to tax it when its passed.
Even with no insurance? I just don't want to get caught out by it, because knowing my luck I'll put out of my road and a bloody police car will be sitting there.
Sorry for all the questions
Insure it then OR trailer it OR trade plates.
Alrighty, I'll look into my options, thanks for the help.
