ET3 is the 1.4 16V, DV4 is the 1.4 HDi.
yes 1.1 will be the 8v

Yep i am aware about the insurance change but my current insurance i pay each month and not up in full so i am in talks with them about not being charged to move as they did not explain to me about the 27 years age limit when i took the policy out and also it does not state anyware on my policy about that age limit.
I dont think a 2.0L will be an option as alot of insurance compaines require any driver who is going on the policy to have held the licence for more than a year if going on a 2.0L

Good old french design. the 2.0 hdi is spot on as far as im concerned.

What is the cambelt change interval on a 1.2, 1.4 and 2.0HDI
Still looking between the 3 types of engine sizes and can people recommend any insurance compaines that insure a new driver which has passed within the last week and is under 27

There isnt a 1.2 engine.
1.1 & 1.4 are the 2 smallest petrol engines for UK spec 206's, avoid the problematic 1.4 petrol 16 valve lump.
1.4 hdi is best avoided as well.
1.4 petrol 8 valve OR 2.0 hdi are the best choices for a cheap run around.
Petrol engine timing belt is every 5 years / 80k miles whichever comes first.
No idea on diesel timing belt change, someone else will know on here.
