Snapped airbag loom!!

I was removing my air bag and managed to snap all the plugs off the loom can I simply solder the plugs back on??

Depends on if the pins are still in the plugs with wire to solder on to.

Probably not, just replace the spool or coms unit if you have one

Ouch, its multiplexed, thats going to be one expensive mistake if it was the drivers airbag you where trying to remove.

Will be a new com2000 unit.

You will struggle to solder the airbag wires back together on a com unit.

Argh it's multiplexed, can I just get a new spool?i don't fancy getting a comms unit

Nope, spool is part of the com unit.

Steering wheel removed, take the plastic trim of around the steering column, undo the clamp at the back, unplug the comm then unclip it to remove it.

Cheers, are comms unit specific to vehicle type? Ie would i need to get one for a 1.4 deisel, or would anyone fit a 52 plate multiplexed car?

You need one from a 206 for a start, either match up the functions from your old com unit OR look on the back of it as there are id numbers on it.

OR pm me the cars VIN & ill look up the correct part number on Peugeot Service Box.
