Needs scanning with Peugeot Planet first.
It could be a simple cheap ABS sensor failure, cracked toothed wheel on a front drive shaft, low battery voltage etc OR it could be a faulty ESP unit & that would cost mega money to fix!
Could also be a shagged com 2000 unit & there also mega money to replace on a GTI 180.

It could be Steering Angle Sensor or wrong calibration. If you remove steering rack and reinstall. And made tracking than generally you need connect to PP2000 and recalibrate center point of steering wheel.

It's a faulty speed sensor on mine although you'll need to find a friendly garage to get a diagnosis of your specific problem.
