#1: Some bumper help. Author: Jack123, Location: Earl Shilton UK PostPosted: Mon Jul 02, 2012 12:56 pm

So, basically I was looking to CC my 206, and I ordered a front and rear, cherry red, non-sports bumper from ebay (99p each, right steal)

But basically, I received them today, and they are obviously not cherry red, seller is refusing to refund or anything, claiming he sent the correct ones.

This is what I received.

Just wanted to confirm they are defiantly not Cherry Red, and I believe they are in fact Diablo Red?

Also, if you are interested this is the images the seller posted on the listing, links to the listing below:

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120933969751
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120933971898

What can I do? I asked the seller about if he just posted the wrong ones (As I believed he delivered by hand, as they were dumped in my back garden with a small note through the door saying left behind house.) would it be possible to deliver the right ones, and then swap fro the ones sent by mistake at the same time, he has not replied to that message yet.

Love hate relationship with ebay once again...

They are Diablo Red, as the seller put them as cherry red and they clearly not you could open a dipute with ebay and paypal but its a hard one as he may have not even known that they were wrong

Pragmatically: sell them on; then try again buying the right colour, this time going to collect them in person to be sure, and paying cash on collection.

There's a good chance the eBay or paypal claim will not go through, since they won't know the difference between cherry red and diablo red, and why its significant. Worth a go though, costs nothing to raise a "not as described" complaint?

But yet the images he posted are clearly Cherry Red? Or is that just me?

Due to the light it's difficult to tell from his pictures, but from your pictures they are definitely diablo red.

Direct him to this thread if he thinks they are correct.

It doesn't matter if he knew or didn't know, it's his responsibility to make sure his listing is correct not yours.

If he seriously isn't willing to co operate and his stubborn that they are cherry red (just send pictures they really aren't that similar) then open up a dispute.

On the Ebay listening he's marked returns as accepted. And they are not cherry red but the darker red, open a case or tell him he marked them as returns accepted.

Or, just suck up your mighty £1.98 loss. Not a massive biggie is it?

I will send him the images I took, and ask him if he simply sent the wrong ones, as he sells a lot of 206 bumpers and such from looking at his store and feedback.

Ah well, if it comes to it I will open a case, so disappointed Sad

Thanks all.

It was a total of £20 with postage, which, when you are on £2.60 a hour soon adds up! Laughing

Yeah, It was £1.98 + £18 postage.

I still can't work out how they were delivered, a courier wouldn't of left them in the garden, nor would they of shoved an oil covered paypal invoice with the note on, however, the items came from Bradford, I just can't work it out.

Meh Laughing You live and learn.

I'm 17, £2.60 is the Minimum Apprentiship wage for under 18's, as I am on an Apprentiship Sad

Just seen some of the sellers feedback, Looks like it will be resolved through ebay Confused
