well as if i never had enough problems with my last car Shocked

bought myself a hdi today 2ltr, black, 3dr, 52plate, 97,000 miles, AND some problems Wall Bang

so everything was fine on the test drive car was spot on, clutch good, gearbox good etc etc. was very dirty and need the odd thing like a fog light as the old one had water in? and some other stuff. for the price not really bothered.

on to the issue im new to the multi-plex model before i go further, on the drive home i stopped for diesel and noticed the aftermarket h/u stayed on alond with the mfd, thought yellow red wire issue, also noticed the indicators did not flash when i locked the car? so got home and started to pull the h/u out. it kept getting caught on something so removed the whole vent/mfd display thing to find that the mfd display had been hot wired to the h/u live???????

so took the display thing off and wires had been cut and a wire went down to the live feed ment for the h/u Shocked Shocked Shocked

so took this off, re-wired the mfd, connected the battery back up and started the car to see . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . AIRBAG FAULT and ANTI-POLLUTION FAULT Wall Bang Wall Bang

why me???????????

guy says has no idea and never knew Rolling Eyes

what is the anti-pollution fault?

horn not working so could this be the spool thing causing airbag fault?

Maybe it has been wired to HU to prevent buyers from seeing it has an anti pollution fault.

Anti pollution fault is usually a problem with the cat;emissions. Could be a exhaust leak, bad injector, EGR fault.. Best way to find out is to have is to have it plugged in and have the fault read, and then go from there with the code.
