I just got a 1.4 Roland garros 1999 and was wondering if both door mirrors are supposed to fold or just the passenger side. Question

ah thanks you ive been searching everywhere guess im gunna go have fun taking it apart, ive found it hard finding a replacement.

Folding motor unit will be rusted up, common problem.

dont suppose you know of a guide or could point me in the right direction. i have been searching forever i even bought a haynes manual which was vague on door mirrors

Pretty sure it's easier and more efficient to buy a whole new mirror.

Correct, there a right pain to strip down & repair, I hate fixing them.

Only ever fitted to the RG, GT & GTI 180.
